PROFESSIONAL TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE

Gregory worked as a Patent Examiner at the United States Patent and Trademark Office in Alexandria, VA focusing on high precision thermal measuring and testing, and measuring and testing electromechanical devices and circuitry. Prior to his work as a Patent Examiner, Gregory was in private practice as an attorney. While in private practice, Gregory worked on patent matters in the electrical and mechanical arts, advised clients of their intellectual property rights, and represented clients in Illinois circuit and appellate courts.

Before becoming an attorney, Gregory worked for over 15 years as an IT professional. During his time as an IT professional, Gregory worked as a technical specialist who resolved nationwide network problems and outages, a network analyst who diagnosed network hardware and software related problems, and a teleprocessing technician who installed and maintained HP and IBM related architectures.


EDUCATION

Gregory earned his Masters of Law (LL.M.) in Intellectual Property Law, honors, and his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from The John Marshall Law School—where he obtained a Certificate in Intellectual Property (Patent Track). Gregory earned his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (Telecommunications Option) from the University of Southwestern Louisiana (currently known as the University of Louisiana at Lafayette).
